17th Asian Society of Conservation Medicine Conference 2024

The 17th Asian Society of Conservation Medicine (ASCM) Conference is being held from September 30th to October 4th at the Mongolian University of Life Sciences. This year’s theme, “Living In Harmony with Nature: Wildlife, Human and Ecosystem Interface” aims to deepen our understanding of sustainable practices and the balance between human activities and natural ecosystems.

Mongolia is not only an excellent place to observe first-hand examples of coexistence with nature, but is also a crucial location for understanding the ecological aspects of various wildlife diseases, such as Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza. The conference will explore recent, significant developments in conservation medicine and sharing insights and research findings with experts, researchers, and practitioners around the world.

We are grateful to our supporters, including the Japanese Society of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine (JSZWM), the Korean Society of Zoo and Wildlife Medicine (KSZWM), and the Wildlife Disease Association Asia Pacific (WDA-AP).
