Hisssssstory and current knowledge of snake fungal disease – WEBINAR
WEBINAR: December 5, at 3.30pm (ET)
Snake fungal disease (SFD) is a threat to snake health worldwide, affecting wild and captive snakes in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. SFD appears to impact all snake species, regardless of life history or taxonomy, and typically presents as skin abnormalities. In this webinar, Drs. Jeff Lorch and Ellen Haynes will present the history and epidemiology of SFD and related fungal diseases in snakes, as well as recent research advances and ongoing knowledge gaps regarding these diseases.
Part of a series hosted by the Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation (PARC) Disease Task Team in conjunction with the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies, closed captions will be provided via Zoom, and a recording will be sent to all participants. You can also engage in a live Q&A session.
