Living Landscapes, a WDA CANUSA Student Workshop
In the lead up to the incredible WDA 2025 conference, CANUSA, the Canadian and USA Student Chapter, is hosting an inspiring workshop, Living Landscapes Student Workshop: Bridging Wildlife Health, Human Impact and Community Voices, July 23-26.
Offering students hands-on experience in wildlife health and conservation within the beautiful Pacific Northwest, the workshop program includes behind-the-scenes tours of the Vancouver Aquarium and Marine Mammal Rescue Centre, chemical immobilization techniques and innovative strategies to manage wildlife populations. Attendees will also grow new relationships with the land through an ethnobotany walk and gain useful professional development skills.

Cost for the event is $250 + fees which includes 4 nights accommodation (including the night of July 23) and all meals and activities throughout July 24-26.
