Wildlife Health and Pathology Short Course 2024

Wildlife Health and Pathology Short Course 2024

The Australian Registry of Wildlife Health is pleased to announce that we will be hosting another WILDLIFE HEALTH AND PATHOLOGY SHORT COURSE in FEBRUARY 2024!

This year we will deliver a full day of interactive workshops including: a histopathology master class and a full necropsy workshop covering sample collection and shipment, useful clinical diagnostic tricks, and a hands on necropsy wet lab.

This will be followed by an intensive, 4-day review of the diseases of all classifications of wildlife including small mammals, marsupials, and monotremes, avian fauna, reptiles and amphibians and marine mammals, reptiles and birds.

Finally, the program will end with a full day ONE HEALTH PRINCIPLES IN WILDLIFE HEALTH MANAGEMENT SYMPOSIUM to highlight Australian and international perspectives on wildlife health management and to try and tease apart pathways for responding to wildlife events when they happen. Panel discussions will provide an opportunity for engagement and the exchange of ideas and best practice.

Internationally acclaimed wildlife pathologists, epidemiologists and microbiologists will join representatives from across Australia and New Zealand to deliver this fascinating program. We hope to see you there!
