Day 1- 25th October 2017
National Flying-fox Forum hosted by Environmental Institution of Australia and New Zealand Inc. and Ecology Special Interests Section
All Victorian veterinarians can expect to have some exposure to flying foxes or microbats at some point during their career. These species make their home in urban areas and are frequently disturbed or injured as a result of human behaviour.
This forum will bring together groups from varying scientific disciplines, including medicine, veterinary science, nursing, the pharmaceutical and agricultural industry, reflecting the ambitions to respond to the challenges of AMR with a unified One Health approach.
This introductory course, facilitated by the Parks and Wildlife Service, is designed for anyone in the community interested in the rehabilitation of sick, injured or abandoned native wildlife. Information is presented by some of Western Australia's most experienced wildlife rehabilitators.
